Life In My Eyes
What I saw was a dream,
N what I dreamt was a reality,
Swinging between illusions, I found the truth of life,
That absence lies in existence n existence lies in absence.
I strove to complete my tasks but found them incomplete at last,
As a circle can only be complete when it is round,
N thus I found, why the earth is round n humans so incomplete.
I ran after friends n unions n as much as I expanded them,
I only found the extent of my own incompleteness,
the extent of my being so divided, so separated.
That’s what I learned about life, it can’t be led alone.
N no matter how big networks u build at last u r thrown alone.
This world’s full of dumb, deaf n blinds
N that too of so many kinds.
The ones who can’t hear the screams of the aghast,
go shattered at the little cry of their child
Moreover life is a joke that has to be taken seriously.
Yes! I saw life,
It was a voyage on a dark, deep river at the bank of which I found,
Just the nails of the dead n not even the graves
To spare the room for many more to come,
Many more yet to come!
